Awesome Off-Grid Stealth Camper ex Fire Service
Awesome and unique Off-Grid Overlander type camper. Hugely flexible with seating/beds / perfect for adventure camper or full-time live in vehicle for 1-3 people. Vauxhall Movano 2013 F4500 (125bhp) (same as Renault Master). Strict Ministry MOT in November with no advisories. Oil serviced last week. Rated to either 3.5Tonnes or 4.5Tonnes – you decide (see below for more details). Runs and drives well due to it being ex fire service and maintained to high standard. 1 previous owner – fire service. Good length being the LWB (not XLWB) so it’s basically a MWB with a overhang and lifted up. Beefy tyres almost all-terrain tread. Very steady on the bends being 6-wheeler. This is an actual off-grid campervan which can keep you in the wilds for as long as your water supply needs a top up. It’s a unique camper and offers a flexible living /exploring space for its new owner/s. Quality build by a professional builder. Unique base van with lithium tech providing advanced off-grid power resources added to a strong and quality build. Originally built for myself but I went way over my affordable budget so must sell to balance books. Large 500watt Solar Panel. Renogy 1000w remote controlled Inverter. Victron Bluetooth DC-DC Smart charger (charges battery when driving). Renogy 100 a/h LITHIUM battery (Bluetooth). Highly flexible main bed (single/double or removable). Separate utility area – adds privacy and insulation to living space. Two long benches for seating/storage/potential extra sleeping. Utility area / good for storage / can house a toilet – current one not included being that it’s used, but I can pay for a new one. Standing height inside 6ft 6in. 4x Roomy overhead lockers. Large kitchen unit – Solid beech worktop. Real staved oak flooring. 12cm thick bench seats – very firm for seating and sleeping – delivered today. One side is about 6ft 2in in length, the other 5ft 10in. They can be used as two singles or joined up with 4 panels to make a king size double bed. The bridging panels can also serve as tables (see pic). There’s four overhead lockers, two big drawers under the worktop, the benches have storage space and a cavernous space above the cab. There’s a utility space at the back which I have made – the can be section off with a curtain/hanging rug. The water supply is back there, porta-loo and also space for luggage. The table can be moved to two different locations and there’s 2x USB charging locations and 5 different light options available including some red lighting. The kitchen has 2-ring gas hob, decent size sink with a tap with two different settings (sprinkler or normal water flow). It’s cold water only in here though, I’m a hardy survivalist type. Heavy insulation especially in the roof and eaves – close to 100mm / 150mm in the eaves consisting of sound insulation, recycled plastic bottle wool and finished which a thermal/foil backed wrap and then spruce cladding all round. Once warmed up the heat stays in and it’s been cosy testing it recently at 2 degrees above freezing once warmed a little with some heat dispersion from the cooking hob and cab air blower. The van has one 80% privacy tint window fitted in the sliding side door and I’ve an insulated blind that fits the window for blackout/full privacy. About its weight class.. It is all set up to either remain at either 4.5Tonnes or be downrated to 3.5Tonnes so if you’re looking at this and thinking I probably can’t drive it, then fear not as all the paperwork is ready to be sent off and I have a current weight certificate to show the camper currently weights exactly 3-Tonnes. There’s the odd dink on the bodywork in line with age. Little niggle as the drivers door needs a new cable between handle and door release as the handle won’t open it from the outside. It’s fine getting out and all the central locking works as normal, it’s purely the handle cable (like a brake cable on a bicycle basically). I just use the passenger door to get in for now. The chevrons on the sides and back doors can be removed easily enough if required but I think it also has advantages leaving them in place – so up to new owner. Balance to be paid at collection by bank transfer. This item is in the category “Cars, Motorcycles & Vehicles\Campers, Caravans & Motorhomes\Campervans & Motorhomes”. The seller is “julesanthony” and is located in this country: GB. This item can be shipped to United Kingdom.

Van Mercedes Sprinter MWB Stealth van 2006 MOT
Mercedes Sprinter 2.1 litre 2006 Campervan Hey, we’re hoping someone else can have an awesome adventure in this van too. We’ve designed it to be a stealth van, the only giveaway being the roof vents and porthole on the side. We’ve parked up everywhere from quiet neighbourhoods to busy cities to some of the most picturesque places in the UK and had no bother from anyone. As we’re heading back to NZ, so happy to leave van “fully furnished” with pots, cutlery, bin etc. Powerful 5kw diesel heater. 3 x ring hob and a grill. There is an oven which we can include unfitted with the van but we preferred it without (extra space). Double bed which converts to chair by day and includes drawers for clothes. Wardrobe + shoe storage. LED lighting – Running water and double sink. Toilet with 10 litre tank. 6kg propane gas bottle (in regulation gas cupboard) Pipework is copper and it’s a proper caravan regulator. 2 x 110ah Halfords EFB batteries. 1500w inverter – Gas sniffer, carbon monoxide and fire alarm. Lots of overhead storage over the cab and above the kitchen/bed. 3x spare 240v plugs. Powers a laptop quite happily. 2 x skylights, one is a large extractor fan. 2 x USB ports. English Heritage Parking pass – X-Lock full disc steering wheel lock. Spare set of keys. We have built the inside of the van ourselves- living space is fully insulated and moisture barrier installed. It’s registered as a panel van and is insured with Brentacre for just 370 pounds per year, who have accepted all modifications. Within the last 6 months we’ve had some mechanical maintenance taken care of: 4 x new injectors, 4 x new seals, new rocker cover, new injector bolt threads manufactured, all new glow plugs. This work was carried out by a professional garage and we can provide receipts if desired. The gearbox runs really well as does everything else. It’s 3.5 tonnes and can be driven on a car license. It is in used condition, however no known mechanical issues and has passed MOT till Dec 2020. We have been happily living in this van for 9 months so happy to share our tips and tricks for life on the road! Open to fixed price offers. Item also advertised elsewhere. Mercedes Sprinter MWB Stealth Campervan
Mercedes Sprinter 2.1 litre 2006 Campervan Hey, we’re hoping someone else can have an awesome adventure in this van too. We’ve designed it to be a stealth van, the only giveaway being the roof vents and porthole on the side. We’ve parked up everywhere from council estates, industrial estates to some of the most picturesque places in the UK and had no bother from anyone. As we’re heading back to NZ, we will also throw in al the extras, so dishes, cutlery, pots and pans, oven trays, bin and anything else you want that we can’t fit in our suitcases! We’ve taken her up and down the country without a hitch. You’ve got all the comforts you want in here without going crazy. 5kw diesel heater which even on its lowest setting can sometimes be too warm right now. It runs reasonably quietly both inside and out. Uses approx 0.1 litres of diesel per hour! 3 x ring hob and a grill. There is an oven which we can include unfitted with the van but we preferred it without (extra space). But made a little shorter. Comes out to a double bed that comfortably sleeps 2 and is a large, comfy chair by day. Wardrobe – Fits about 10 items. LED lighting – Simple but effective plumbing system with 10 litre tank. The tank is under the sink so can be increased easily if you wish. Toilet with 10 litre tank. 6kg propane gas bottle in gas cupboard made to specs with 2 x vents in the floor. Pipework is copper and it’s a proper caravan regulator. 2 x 110ah Halfords EFB batteries. More than enough to power everything, we’ve never come close to running out of power. 1500w inverter – Gas sniffer, 12v , wired in. Tested by spraying propane on it, works perfectly. German designed and manufactured. Carbon monoxide and fire alarm. Lots of overhead storage over the cab and above the kitchen/bed. Lots of extra storage spaces fitted where possible. 3x spare 240v plugs. Powers a laptop quite happily. Steering wheel lock. 2 x skylights (no leaks, installed properly with mastic tape). One skylight has slight damage from where I forgot how tall the van was. It still works however. The other is a large extractor fan, both 400×400. 2 x USB ports. We have built the inside of the van ourselves and although this is our first van conversion, we have renovated many houses so it’s done simply but well. It’s registered as a panel van as the DVLA are quite difficult to work with right now. However, we have it insured with Brentacre for just 370 pounds per year, who don’t mind as long as we list the modifications. Within the last 6 months we’ve had a few mechanical works done to it which means it purrs beautifully. These are the common sprinter black death cured. 4 x new injectors, 4 x new seals, new rocker cover, new injector bolt threads manufactured, all new glow plugs. The engine has basically been professionally taken apart, anything that needed replacing got replaced. The gearbox runs really well as does everything else. The only issues with it are – Sometimes when you turn on the air con, it squeaks. Turning it off and back on in a minute or so fixes this. There is an’EDC’ light. We’ve had this checked out, changed the usual culprits (glow plugs, injector seals) and we’ve been told its definitely one of two things. It’s the brake sensors on or the vehicle speed sensor. Neither of which will be catastrophic or indeed have much effect in the long or short term, hence why we haven’t bothered to replace them. Once you take it for a drive, you’ll see the same, no difference in day to day driving. Turns on first time every time, even at this time of year. It’s 3.5 tonnes and can be driven on a car license. We’re open to discussion. Feel free to ask anything I might have forgotten to put! The item “Mercedes Sprinter MWB Stealth Campervan” is in sale since Saturday, December 28, 2019.
Theres 3 different keys for the van. 2 sets of these 3 keys come with it. It’s 3.5 tonnes and can be driven on a car license. We’re open to discussion. Feel free to ask anything I might have forgotten to put! The item “Mercedes Sprinter MWB Stealth Campervan” is in sale since Thursday, November 28, 2019.
