Rapido Series 6 646B Motorhome (2013) with full Air Conditioning

This is a lovely, well looked after 4 berth motorhome. It is short in length making it easy to park in most surface car parks but it has a surprisingly spacious interior due to the cab being well integrated into the rear of the vehicle. This is our fourth motorhome and by far our favourite due to its scale and versatility that is due to the clever internal planning and the electric drop down bed that, even when lowered, does not obscure the habitation door. How they also managed to integrate a shower room with separate shower, toilet and wash basin still amazes us!! The dining area can easily seat four and the table is ingenious in how it rotates and slides on two axis making it easy to get in and out. All the wooden cabinets are in in a really good condition as are all the locks and other fittings. Mattresses and beds are all very good as well! Storage under the main bed is excellent with an external access door to the passenger side easing entry to retrieve camp chairs and tables etc. Some key things you might like to know. In our opinion the van is perfect for a couple plus a teenager or a couple with two smaller children. It may however be a bit cramped for four adults or 2 adults and 2 teenagers. We have had full air conditioning fitted to the habitation area which works on electric hookup. Great in the hot summer we have just had and if you are travelling abroad. There is the standard wind-out Fiamma awning. The cycle rack has a Fiamma box fitted which is not included in the price but we can sell with the van if you would like it. We have added a Kenwood head unit with Apple Car Play rather than the original Pioneer unit which is a bit dated. This is INCLUDED in the asking price. The van has a reversing camera that is wired into the Kenwood head unit. We have a 12v TV/DVD unit which we are prepared to sell with the van but it is not included in the price as we know many people already own one. The van is fully serviced and has an MOT from a very reputable local specialist motorhome servicing garage (receipts are of course available for you to check). The van had its annual habitation check last May and all was well We have just replaced the timing belt as we were advised that at 50,000 miles this is advisable We have fitted four new motorhome tyres this year. Unfortunately our circumstances have changed and after much family debate, we have realised that we cannot use the van enough to justify it sitting in our drive. Why the low price? This is purely down to the slightly higher than normal mileage and is not a reflection of the quality of the van or the maintenance. Mazda Bongo Friendee 2002 year, V6 Petrol, Hi spec fit out & pop top roof, MOT till June 2020. On the V5 its most importantly registered as a motorhome, making it more valueable. Excellent running engine, the clock shows 148724 which is in Ks, so the actual clock distance is 92412 miles. However, the engine was replaced in 2017 with 50000 miles used engine. Its currently done approx. If you look at the MOT history it shows this light use. This was a professional replacement needed because I was an amateur and forgot to get a coolant alarm, the water pipe burst and it cooked the previous engine! Needless to say, it has one now! I have also had the gear box recently replaced and fitted by Bongo Spares in Sowerby Bridge. This has all the paperwork, the gears were slipping slightly so they recommended this action. Engine is a 2.5 V6 petrol, its a very famous sort after engine on these types of vehicle. Its running amazingly well! It was recently serviced from bongo spares in Sowerby Bridge (Halifax) and had a full ignition clear only a few months ago which makes it run even more efficiently than before. Amazing interior fit out with fully working internal lights, fridge with freezer compartment, 2 hob cooker, great sink hardly marker or used and extendable hidden 3-way plug socket. Rock and Roll bed, pet free and nice-looking upholstery. Rear Parking sensor bumper Colour coded. External (side of vehicle) Electric hook up and water output. Comes with Spare set of keys. Recently had 4 new tyres and disk and brake pads. Leisure battery currently powers all lights and fridge without the need for electric hook up, this could be altered to add additional products should it be necessary. Owner manual and some service history, much of the work done is recorded with the paperwork. Please note the van has some (pictured) rust around the wheel trims, this is very usual in vehicles and can easily be painted over to offer further protection. No hiding here, its not that bad and is clearly pictured. Test drive can be arranged. Please note proof can be seen of the newer engine and the brand new gear box, which makes this an even better deal.
