This is an advert for a 4 Berth, Fixed Island Bed, Twin Axle, 2007 ACE Supreme Globestar, a top of the range luxury touring caravan. This is a well appointed, hi-spec quality caravan that is nicely finished both inside and out. Being hi-spec it is very well equipped with lots of extra features fitted as standard. It is a modern 4 berth hi-spec luxury touring caravan, which has pretty much everything you will need to be able to hitch up and go on holiday. Ideal for a family or a couple who want the versatility and luxury of a high specification luxury touring caravan without the hassle of making up all of the beds every night. At the front of the caravan down either side are 2 parallel settees. These are long enough to be used as 2 x individual single beds (1 x 6′ 3” and 1 x 5′ 6”) or can be made into a massive 7′ x 5′ 6” double bed. Between the seats is a 3 drawer chest with a fold over table top on it. During the day this area is used as a seating and dining area and is particularly useful for quick meals and snacks. At night these seats make into a large double bed. As you walk back through the caravan the well fitted kitchen is is on your left followed by a self contained shower to the left opposite which is a self contained toilet and wash basin. Beyond this situated centrally at the back of the caravan is a large Fixed Island Double Bed. There are two wardrobes either side of the bed with wall mounted shelves adjacent useful for cups or glasses. This whole area can be divided off from the rest of the caravan by a door partition giving privacy when required. The kitchen is very well fitted with plenty of storage cupboards, drawers and a cutlery drawer. The area is then well lit by an under cupboard light. There is a built in Microwave Oven and a hob with grill and oven below plus a pan storage cupboard at the bottom. A three way fridge is built into the unit. Three way means it will work on gas or electric. It can also be used on the 12 volt from your car to hold the temperature whilst you are travelling. The fridge has a full width freezer compartment rather than the small corner boxes most caravans have. The washroom has an Electric Flushing Cassette Toilet which empties from the outside, and has an indicator light on it which lets you know when it needs emptying. The toilet is the swivel type which provides more space in the bathroom. The shower is located in a separate area opposite the toilet and is a full size square shower. This whole area can then be separated from the rest of the caravan for privacy. Under the front bed there is a water heater which provides hot water to the kitchen and bathroom. This heater will work on electric or gas. To keep the caravan warm all the windows are double glazed and there’s a powerful fire in the centre of the caravan which will work on electric or gas. This is aided further by the benefit of blown air central heating. This is an independent fan which circulates air through vents positioned around the caravan. If the fire is on it circulates hot air, keeping all parts of the caravan warm by distributing the heat. It also keeps the washroom warm and dry as there is a heated towel rail with a vent in it. If the fire is off the blown air system works just as a fan circulating air, ideal in keeping the caravan cool in hot weather. Other equipment includes blackout blinds and fly screens, these are fitted to all windows as well as curtains. Other equipment includes a control panel, battery charger, 12 volt lighting as well as individual reading lights, mains electric sockets, 12V sockets and aerial point, TV shelf, fitted door mat, outside light and a water pump. There is also a booster inside the caravan to enhance the signal further. There is lots of storage space under the seats which have lift up tops for easy access. Further storage is found in the large wardrobes and shelving units and in the many cupboards and drawers around the caravan. There is a large table in the caravan which stores away when not being used. The table is the freestanding type which means it can be used on warmer days outside or in an awning. This caravan also has a number of valuable extra features. The carpets are removable which is useful in inclement weather. In the roof of the caravan are 2 large roof light. These work like a sunroof and can be opened and have a blackout blind and fly screen. They let a lot of extra light and air into the caravan making it far lighter and brighter inside. There is one over the lounge area and another over the rear bed area. Also in the roof over the kitchen is an Omnivent extractor fan which helps to take a way food smells or in hot weather can be used as a fan to help keep the caravan cool. The caravan is fitted with an Alko Hitch Stabilizer. The stabilizer makes the caravan a lot more stable when being towed, it is also a lot cleaner and easier to use than the traditional leaf spring stabilizer. The caravan has nearly all the equipment needed to be able to take the caravan away and use it. This includes a gas regulator, mains hook up cable, and a brace for winding the legs down. For peace of mind the caravan is CRiS registered, has been CRiS checked and is all clear meaning the caravan has no outstanding finance etc. The upholstery and carpets are in good condition although as it isn’t a new caravan there are bound to be some signs of use. Externally the caravan is in good order with nothing specific to point out. Internally again nothing drastic to mention apart from the odd bit of wear and tear to the veneer in places and a couple of minor repairs carried out to the worktops. Finally the grill door has been replaced at some point in its lifetime and doesn’t have the matching silver trim as on the oven door (see picture). These are all cosmetic items and do not affect the use of the caravan in any way and are the sort of the things that you would probably expect on a caravan of this age but just thought worth a mention in the interest of an accurate description. Please note that the Alko tow hitch requires an Alko towball – this is not complicated, it just means swapping your standard towball to an Alko ball (only 2 bolts to remove), this allows greater clearance between the towball and the car bumper to allow the caravan hitch to turn.
