Peugeot Boxer Campervan Conversion
Peugeot boxer 335 Pro L3H2. Mot for 10 months. Re Mapped to 160 BHP (Purely for mid-range power). Service history including full service this year. Reversing camera and Parking sensors. FM / DAB / CD player (DAB is terrible by the way). 2 Hankook leisure batteries. 1 x kreiger inverter for fridges (uses mains power when available). 1 x spare Kreiger inverter. 1 x Edecoa pure sign wave inverter. Power isolation switch for when its not in use. 5 x USB charge points. 1 x normal food fridge. 1 x beer fridge. Sofa that converts to full king size bed. Prewired for roof vent should you want one. Prewired for sink should you want one. Dodo insulation in walls (this is correct stuff for a van). LED lighting separately switched. 25mm Celotex for floor insulation. Outdoor revolution air beam awning (new this year). Gas BBQ (New this year) with bottle (you can cook anything on this beauty). Kettle and hob for kettle. Power hook up leads for home and away. Brand new in box diesel heater (this is an unfinished part of project so I would discuss the idea with you as I have wired van for an external power source to keep it out of the van and vent warm air in). Pretty much load the van with all this stuff, Food and Beer and your off. I have left the bulk head in as I use van as my daily driver, there is no sink as I did not want water in the van but there is space to add one should you want to and also prewired for power to a pump. We used the Gas BBQ for cooking as we did not want cooking smells in the van, but again there is space to add hob/sink unit should you require one. VW Transporter T5 Camper Van
VW T5 Campervan – 2.5TDi T30 130 SWB. I’ve regularly used this van for my business of teaching paragliding, camping trips and adventures since 2017, when I bought the van with about 250k on the clock. Despite the high mileage of 270000, the van drives very well. It has had a new turbo at 253k in 2017, injectors and water pump replaced in 2018 and a new gearbox in 2019. It last had a service and MOT in November. The van was originally a high spec transporter shuttle, so it has air con, ESP, dual sliding doors, tailgate rear door, roof rails and roof bars, tinted windows all round and range rover alloy wheels. The camper conversion was done before I had the van, and is fairly basic, with a rock and roll bed and storage down the driver’s side of the van. It also has a sink with 12V electric tap, 20 litre water and waste tanks and roll out safari style side awning. Since having the van, the improvements I’ve added as a camper van are. Deep Cycle leisure battery. CTEK d250se solar charge and alternator input charge controller to top up both leisure and starter battery. 240V inverter fitted to run mains powered electric items. Electric Switching Panel fitted with voltage readout. Swivel Passenger seat and leather driver’s and passenger seat fitted, both with VW logo. Waeco 12V electric cool box. It’s a lovely van, obviously one of the older T5s, but great fun for camping trips and daily use. Being a short wheel base it’s very easy to park. We’ve taken it to Skye, and taken paragliders across the Pyrenees with her as our support vehicle and she’ll be sorely missed.
