2016 American Import Ford Transit Campervan. Get ready for something different. One of a kind. Outrageously powered Twin Turbo 3.5l V6 engine. American model year 2016. Ford Transit 150 xlt. Quite possibly the only American imported Ford Transit in the country. No expenses were spared on the van and conversion build. Van was conceived to be my family’s camping vehicle. I then imported the van to England in the summer of 2017. Professional conversion to British regulations in fall 2017 and first registration in the Uk on 01/01/2018. Campervan conversion finished in September 2021. Babied and loved every step of the way. Unlike anything else with this type of engine and payload, this van can be driven on a standard British license. Classed as body type MPV, taxation class of lights good vehicle, it can be driven at normal motoring speeds (such as motorway 70mph). This van has also received the French Crit’ Air 1 classification to allow it to be driven in France’s restricted low-emission traffic zones. It is a beautiful van. Handles like a car, roaring speeds like a sports car, hauls like an oversized American truck, yet fits in normal parking spaces. Beautifully presented and well loved Toyota hi ace. One of only 700 ever made in house by Toyota the level of quality is outstanding and the ergonomic design creates a very large usable space. There is a working water pump system, two burner hob and grill and even the original sushi board supplied by Toyota. The AC still works and the engine starts on the button, it passed the MOT with 1 advisory only and had a new radiator fitted at the same time as there was a very minor leak on the original. There are 6 seats with the middle row rotating to form part of the dining area. Mileage is shown in km so is actually 75k. The pop top canvas is in great condition and the fabrics all look good for their age. Full 12 month mot and lots of original paperwork including English and Japanese manuals from before it being imported. A solar panel has been added along with updated 12v led interior lights. I have included a driveway awning (seen better days but will probably clean up) and cabling and water containers, this van really is ready to go straight away on holiday! We have loved this fun 1996 four berth Mazda Bongo for spur of the moment weekends away. It’s an easy to drive automatic and quick to set up with an electric pop top revealing a great, safe, sleeping space for adults or children, and passenger seats that fold down to make a bed, comfortable for two. The passenger seats can be rear or front facing, and make a great dining area, along with a folding table which clips to the rail and custom made cushions. The artificial grass flooring is easy to clean and fun. The end kitchen has a two burner hob and sink with a fair amount of storage. The outside is in good condition for its age.
