Compass Advantage 100
It is still in excellent condition. We bought the van in September 2009 and it has served us very well including a trip to France. The van is an Compass Advantage 100 four birth, 2004, two Axel Coachbuilt based on a Peugeot Boxer Chassis with a 1997cc Deisel Engine it has done just under 36700 miles. It drives really well and is very comfortable to drive. The van has just been given a full service by a Peugeot Main Dealer, we have kept it in a barn for the last 12 years and it is in remarkable condition with no rust underneath and is having a new MOT on 18. The van has a rear kitchen and flush-toilet the unit has a toilet with fold-down wash basin and very good shower with curtain, there are large fresh water and dirty water tanks with gas and mains water heating, there is Full gas and mains electric central heating. Which works really well. The kitchen has a good gas cooker, four rings, grill and Oven in as new condition. The fridge is reasonable size and has a small freezer section, and works on 12V, Gas and Mains, there are four 13A sockets spaced around the van in the lounge area there is a fold down TV table with aerial, 12V. And 13a socket for a TV, tv aerial on the roof with booster in the wardrobe. The front passenger seat revolves to face into the van. The lounge area has two front facing seats with seat-belts, a table and two rear facing seats without belts. There is also a bench seat along the side of the van which can seat three. There is also a wardrobe in this area which has the water heater in the base. There is a double-bed over the cab which can be collapsed to make a single to make more headroom in the front which is accessed by ladder, otherwise the table and seating area can be configured for a three-quarter or full double bed. We usually, as an ageing couple, had “the shelf” over the cab as a double where I as a fit 80 year old slept and was very comfortable, and my wife slept downstairs on the three-quarter bed. The van also has the usual cupboards all round to take advantage of every available space. There are exterior cupboards, one for the two gas cylinders, another for the leisure batteries and Electric hook-up and another for access to the Toilet unit for emptying, and filling the flush unit. There is also an external TV Aerial socket for sites that supply one. There is a wind down Awning on the side above the door. With the van comes a four seat folding table which lives in the wardrobe, A set of levelling ramps, Internal and External Window Insulation full set of crockery, dinner and tea plates and bowels, mugs and glasses,, cutlery and various kitchen utensils, a 3 piece set of saucepans with grill pan, and gas kettle, an electric Low power Kettle, 4 slice toaster and a tie-down set for the awning, there may be other things I have forgotten.
