Mazda bongo camper van 2.5 TD Auto
For Sale Mazda Bongo 2.5TD Campervan rear conversion – Auto pop top. Relisted due to time waster. It’s not ok to assume I’ll take a 40 mile round trip and meet you at a train station. What are people like. Very low mileage for age – Approx 78,000 miles – Will change as being used regularly – Shows in KM’s on speedo, so don’t be shocked. Starts first time every time and used as a daily runner with no problems. Carries 5 people, 2 front, 3 rear. Pop top roof (electrically controlled). Unfortunately history pre March 2022 lost in house move. Rear conversion comprises of two ring cooker, mini fridge, sink and tap with water and waste container, plus storage. Table for two to sit at internally in gap between rear seat and conversion. 4 brand new tyres. Two brand new wishbones. Main and leisure battery 12 months old. Full exhaust replacement 12 months ago. Electric windows – Front window wind deflectors. Internal 12v power with usb plugs etc. Small used once drive away awning. Spare gas cylinder with various amounts of gas in. If nothing else, save having to put deposit down on new ones. It’s 30 years old nearly and in close to original form as you can get, but this comes with bumps and bruises and some minimal rust spots. I’d say a 5 out of 10 body wise, but does still shine up well. Central locking works 90% of time – all doors can be opened with key so not an issue in grand scheme of things. Pop top mosquito net has rips in (will be attempting a temp fix) but internal material fine if a little weathered. Damage to rear of pop top. Functional perm fix but looks a bit of a pimple as can be seen from pics. You can see this on the picture of the rear. It’s not rust, just a fiberglass patch. Had a binding brake advisory on MOT – this fixed itself with use having been used less over winter. Very small oil leak that has been an advisory for two MOTs, garage said no worse and losing very little (don’t need to top up between services), they seemed unfazed by it. Intermittent fuel gauge issue. Reads ok, then doesn’t – The forums say there are two very easy and cheap fixes that are diy and can take as little as 20 minutes. I just fill up every month knowing I’ve never come close to using a full tank. I only use about half tank a month anyway. Added a few more pics based on common questions I’ve been receiving. These cover, rear layout of table, layout of’downstairs’ sleeping and rust spots. This is a registered camper van and sleeps 4. 2 up and 2 down. Although 2 of me wouldn’t enjoy sleeping up top. I always say it’s for the kids. This item is also being advertised elsewhere, so may be removed.
