Comes with regret that we our having to sell our pride and joy due to unforseen circumstances. The van comes with the awning that sleeps 6 people. The van come with an mot up until the end of the year December and has no advisories. Rock and roll bed, cooker, fridge freezer and plenty of storage. This is a ford custom limited the veichle is self it’s a 2.2 diesel 6 speed with heated seats, automatic wipers lights and heated screen the van works perfectly, I shall be sending it in for a full service before the sale. I’ve had him since 2014, so for 10 years. In that period, he’s wanted for nothing. He was registered as part of my business for most of that time and I had a contract with VW so he had full history with VW. I used him for light commercial use, transporting art to fairs. We’ve had some incredible times and he’s gone all over Europe, helping me and the family to get closer to nature. There’s a few more photos here which will give you an idea of the life he’s had. He’s a workhorse, one of his greatest assets in my opinion is his versatility. The bespoke camper interior is fully removable. Within 5-10 minutes it can all be removed, and he can go into full van mode (2 seats), day van (5 seats), or shuttle (8 seats). Here’s the full spec. Transporter T5 Shuttle s84 102 LWB. MPV (no restrictions on motorway, cheaper tolls, ferries, no charge at tip etc). 2070 kg (unladen with 8 seats). 1850 (unladen with camper interior). Until March 2025. Factory Shuttle (60k new in 2007). Factory Front and rear air con (two units). Factory insulation and windows. Factory heavy duty flooring. Currently SORN – not being used for the last 6 weeks. As insulation, windows and flooring are factory fitted you won’t need to worry about the quality of the workmanship. If the insulation isn’t fitted correctly with vapour barriers, it’s common in DIY builds for moisture to build up over time which can damage the van, not got that issue here. The flooring is VW’s hard wearing rubber floor. The interior side panels are really heavy duty – this is a workhorse of a van that can handle whatever you throw at it. 19 low profile Alloys. Full black out privacy windows. Heavy Duty rear tow bar. Leisure battery control panel with charging points. Split charge relay (charges the leisure battery). Twin front seat swapped for single captain’s seat. Bespoke bed with gear access point in front. Gear access point in rear of the bed which doubles up at breakfast bar. Bespoke front table for single captain’s seat. Oversize Fridge: DOMETIC CombiCool RC 1200 3-Way/ 12 V/230 V and Gas, Silver. Factory seats (1x triple bench, 1x double bench, 1x single). Very comfortable / new memory foam mattress. Vango 2 hob gas cooker (I’ll include some gas). Multi purpose storage boxes. Recent new cam belt and water pump. Dual Mass Flywheel replaced within last 4 years. Gear Box replaced within last 4 years. Oil changed every 6K. Long MOT until March 2025. Bespoke conversion, fully removable interior. Serviced around 5K miles ago. Well looked after throughout ownership. Sometimes Victor can struggle to start in the mornings, whilst he does always get going he can sometimes require the engine priming which can take a few mins before ignition. Once started he’s fine for the rest of the day. This issue is suspected to be glow plug 3 from diagnostics. Missing plastic trim (drivers front). Very small amounts of rust on lower sills (see pics). Some small marks on the bodywork / rear bumper as to be expected with a van this age but overall bodywork is in very good condition (see pics). Therefore priced to sell.
