Looking to sell our VW T5This is a 57 plate with 206k miles Full major service last year, suspension replaced (lowered slightly)8 months MOTFront end face lifted to t5.1, rear lights replaced with t5.1Pop top, rock and roll bed, double hob and sink, double swivel base which slides into the back so you can use the table, diesel heater, fully insulated, fridge with freezer compartment, leisure battery and solar panel, can be plugged in to mains also. Is currently wrapped but it will need a re wrap as its bubbling in places. Minor rust in the usual places for these Van’s but it is 15 old. Cam belt and waterpump also changed. Vintage 2 hob gas burner with grill w/ recent safety inspection. 1.84m x 1.3m dimensions. L-shaped bench with custom-made pads slides out into a double bed. We designed the bed to’hover’ so you can still use the entirety of the under bed storage all of the time. This is a medium-wheel base Red Ford Transit Camper van, which is great because it can go under small bridges and park in a normal parking space with only a small overhang of the bike rack and rear footstep. It has been very well maintained and only as 156735 miles on the clock which is driven by a 2 LTR Turbo diesel Durotorqe engine getting about 35 miles per gallon and first registered in 2001. It has two sliding doors which is quite rare, it means you can put a sun awning on one side and a drive-away awning on the other. It comes with an Anti-theft Pro stop lock, Electric leather seats, windows, and mirrors. Aircon in-cab a passenger swivel seat. The rear seating folds out to a double bed with a very comfy mattress. It drives like new and everything works as it should. The conversion is new and has not been used or slept in. All the appliances are new and unused. The campervan conversion sleeps 2. It has seatbelts for 2 fitted to the rock and roll bed which folds effortlessly out to a 2 berth. The upholstery is leatherette in taupe and champagne gold stitch. There is storage under the seat accessed via cupboard doors front and rear. The campervan comes with a full 12v and 240v installation. The remote control, multifunction led lights are powered by the onboard leisure battery. The tap for the sink/2 burner hob unit is also 12v. The fridge can run on both 12v or 240v. The leisure battery charges as you drive using a split relay system. It will also charge when you plug into mains electric using the hook up point on the side of the van at either a campsite or at home. There are a total of 4 usb charging points, 2 x 12v cigarette lighter points and 5 x 240v sockets, 2 of which are used for the fridge and 3 socket pop up shown in the photos next to the cooker and sink. All 3 rear windows are fitted with blackout blinds. The 2 side windows are tinted and the drivers side can slide open. The campervan is insulated throughout. The floor is black sparkle non slip altro and looks fantastic. The furniture units are Sandwood effect with black worktop and table. There are 2 tambour doors that give you access to a wardrobe or storage area. There is a cupboard under the cooker and sink that houses the fish water, waste water and gas locker. There is also room for further storage in this cupboard. There is a further cupboard accessed from the rear that houses the electrics. There is a large overhead shelf with backing above the cooker. The van fits in a normal parking space, drives like a car and is economical. It will also fit under height restriction bars on carparks across the country. Table to be fitted. This vehicle has a bloody solid engine. It is all set up to be the perfect staycation (or abroad vacation), adventure vehicle. Or just pop around town sort of van if you so choose. It has 6 seats with seatbelts. The pop top is such an incredible feature. It allows you to fully stand up in the van. In the warmer months it’s really fun to sleep up there cause it’s a canvas tent in the top and it can be fully unzipped (has another layer of mosquito netting) and you get a lovely breeze. If you have kids, they would absolutely love climbing up into that space. I also absolutely love the bike rack. It’s so quick and easy to pop two bikes on the back and go for an adventure. The fridge is also a great feature. To be used over a longer period of time the van does need to be plugged in as the leisure battery won’t keep it cold forever. But almost all campsite have electric hookups and I will provide hookup cable. As I said four brand new tires, new MOT and service. The engine size is 2.5 litres. My favourite memory of this vehicle was driving to the beautiful jurassic coast in Dorset, popping the top and making a brew and just enjoying the view. It will be sorely missed.
