For sales our beloved VW California, bought by us new in November 2012, this as been an important part of our family over the years. Mainly used for short winter camping trips and our annual road trip to either France or Spain it has served our family well. Unfortunately our family has grown and and a change in camping has brought about this sell. I converted the front seat from a single to a twin a good few years ago now and wrote a comprehensive blog on the forum website. I can’t quite remember all the extras we added at the time we bought but it including satnav, DSG, 3 zone climate control, upgraded alloys, cruise control, ipod dock, so its well kitted out. Its in good condition both inside and out, please note this van has been used over the last few years and it will have a few stone chips and other wear and tear you’d expect form a vehicle of this age. There is a small nick on the canvas where on the first day i bought it i closed the roof without following the all important instruction’s, it has been repaired and there hasn’t been any problem since. Its first service carried out by my local garage, and its Oil changed every 5000 miles. During its last MOT the advisory’s of the nearside and Offside Front Lower Suspension bush’s have been replaced, I did enquire about the exhaust but was advised it was fine for a number of years yet. Finally it has had the air-condition serviced only a few months ago, all 3 battery’s replaced in the last 12 months along with 4 new Michelin tyres earlier this year. Hope you like it. VW Transporter T6 Highline LWB Campervan with DSG gearbox. This is a beauty. Full VW service history. First MOT due 2nd November 2020. We have tried to do it early (to sell with a new MOT) but cannot do it yet. The engine is in excellent condition and it drives beautifully. 7 speed DSG gear box is a dream! T6 Highline edition which includes all the wonderful extras such as: Air con, cruise control, upgraded dashboard, front heated factory fitted seats which are so comfy, front heated windscreen, electric wing mirrors, steering wheel controls and heated rear window with windscreen wiper. These are single captain swivel seats with 2 armrests fitted by the factory. Limited edition gorgeous colour’Blackberry’ which is no longer available as it was so popular! Very deep metallic colour that looks so classy. Front and rear parking sensors, rear reversing camera that comes up on the VW fitted radio/sat nav screen. Additional upgrades include chrome side bars and a rear bike rack. Electric soft door closing to the side door and rear tailgate. Factory fitted rear window and side windows with fitted blinds. Front end upgraded from factory with Daytime running lights and chrome trims. 2 remote control keys. 1 owner from new. Body work in very good condition with a few usual supermarket dings. The van has been reclassified with the DVLA as a’Motor Caravan’ which is the only classification available for this style of vehicle. Professionally converted by VanLife Ltd. Cupboards are made from the lightweight specially designed ply with carbon effect worktop and flat grey fronts. There is loads of cupboard space / space under the bed. Removable table that slides along the rail you can see at counter height in the photos. Pop top with skinny memory foam mattress that lives inside the Pop when closed. The bed rises up on gas strut hinges also for ease. Top spec rock n roll bed with 4 inches of memory foam – thick and so comfortable. This has two seatbelts and removable headrests. 12v AGM leisure battery with a Battery to Battery charger split charge system fitted. This means that when your vehicle battery is charged the alternator will send charge to the leisure battery to keep it topped up. There are the twin 12V USB ports for charging phones/ipad etc and this runs at the same speed as if you were to charge on the mains which is great for travelling. 12V lights and 12V blue lights in the ceiling, separate red LED lights under the counter top which is wonderful for late evenings star gazing / stopping the bugs headed to your lights! We have also had 240V hook up installed with a fuse box for safety and 2 plugs inside the camper. You could add an extension lead to this if you wanted to as the fuse is big enough. 12V fridge which is a cooler and therefore removable for picnics etc. We chose this for this reason but if you wanted a fitted 12V fridge we are happy to ask VanLife ltd to fit as part of the sale so just ask. Also on the main switchboard you have a voltage reader to see the charging status of the leisure battery. Smev 9222 sink and hob with two gas rings that are supplied via Camping Gas bottle which is easily replaced via a screw on valve when required. We also have a spare gas bottle which is great for if it is running low. Sink has a 12v water pump and a fresh and waste water tank underneath which are easily removable. Non slip altro contax commercial grade flooring. Twin rear Fiamma bike rack. Drive away Air awning also included in the sale – Vango Air Away Kela’Standard’ and pump. This is an amazing addition to the van as it is a drive away one so you can leave it on the campsite with lots of your camping items inside to allow lots of room in the camper for day trips etc. It goes up so quickly (5 mins max) and creates an excellent extended space. We also have a small 240V fridge which we take away with us and have in the awning which is excellent that we are happy to include if you wish.
