Citroen C8 camper 2.2hdi. Won’t ever see another one. Perfect day van or for long weekends away. Not long had fresh MOT. Does need a camshaft sensor as sometimes goes into limp mode but turning off and on again clears it. Otherwise drives very comfortably. Would have repaired before sale but had a baby and haven’t had time. All electric side doors able to be opened via key, heated electric seats that swivel to face into camper. This is my mum’s Romahome Duo Outlook on a manual gearbox Citroen Berlingo. Up for sale due to ill health, mum has loved the freedom this has brought her. If you’re looking at a Romahome you know what these little gems are like. This example has blown air heating (gas powered), mains hookup and most importantly the toilet. The rear suspension has air assistance which is also great on slopes. You can let the airbags down or inflate them from inside the rear to level front-rear. I installed a whopping 260 watt solar panel on the roof with a really nice Victron MPPT controller to power my mum’s oxygen concentrator. The leisure battery is relatively new and has never run low. The starter battery is brand new. The MOT is booked next week and I will make sure there aren’t even any advisories. Any questions please ask. For sale is our well-equipped campervan bought 8 years ago and professionally converted based on a Adria 4Twin using original new motorhome parts and registered as a motor caravan with DVLA. We wanted 4 berths, proper belted seats for the kids, the ability to lift up the bottom bunk for storage/bikes, a large fridge/freezer and microwave all in a vehicle at 6m so the driving was easy when parking, driving down county lanes and using ferries. It has been used most weekends for day tripping and been on several adventures to France and Ireland over the 6 week summer holidays. Fortunately we have a good mechanic garage near us and so it has been well maintained and serviced. Most recent is 4 new tyres and rear brake shoes 6 months ago. It has also passed a full years MOT (July 2020) just before advertising. The camper van is well equipped with the following. Dometic Freshjet 1700 habitation Air-conditioning (great in hotter weather). Fiamma fitted cab/window blinds (quick and easy to darken the cab). Blown diesel central heating. Camos Satellite dish and Avtex TV. 110w solar panel and split charge system. Project 2000 electric step. Thule Rear bike rack. Thetford N112 3 way fridge freezer. Rear reversing camera and sensors. 2 keys one remote and normal key. Great layout for a young family or spacious for a couple with its 4 travelling seats two bunks at the rear and a large dinette at the front that also converts into a double bed at night. Theres a good sized washroom with cassette toilet and show. The kitchen is well equipped with sink, 2 ring gas hob and large 3 way fridge freezer and microwave. We have been fortunate to upgrade to a new taller motorhome so we will be also offering a Vango Kella Air awning that goes with the campervan and we hope that whoever buys the campervan will have lot of adventures and great memories as we have had.
