This is a fabulous van that has been brilliant for our family. It was fully converted by Westcountry Conversions who are one of the premier conversion specialists in the country. The conversion is today as good as the day it was put in which is testament to the quality of the materials that were used. As you can see from the pictures the condition of the conversion is perfect with the odd minor scratch here and there from use – and the condition of the vehicle itself is again superb. There is a minor scratch on the bonnet, a minor scratch on the driverside rear panel, and an unnoticeable dent on the back door that doesn’t affect any workings. Poptop – The vehicle has a manual Reimo roof which is in superb condition with one small patch towards the rear. The bed is exceptionally comfortable and comfortably sleeps 2 adults. We have slept our 2 boys (9 and 11) since they were younger – plenty of space. Seating – The front has a drivers seat and a 2 person bench seat (original VW). We also installed a 3.3.3 Reimo seat matched in VW cloth that gives 3 seats in the rear. This gives total legal seating capacity of 6 which is exceptionally useful when ferrying kids around. The Reimo seats are also on the Reimo Rail System meaning that the seats can either be locked into an airline seating position (giving lots of boot space), or the normal position for travel giving passengers a bit more space. The Reimo 3.3.3. Seat can be easily moved into a flat position for downstairs sleeping. Unlike most “rock’n’roll” beds with this one you sleep on the flat “backside” of the seat. So perfectly flat and very comfortable. Storage – there are pullout cupboards in the main cabin with 3 x trays for food and dry good storage. There is an additional cupboard adjacent with the water storage and added shelves. Then there is a main cabinet with 4 shelves for pots, pans, washing up stuff, buckets, spades etc. These are all lit with blue LED lights. There is then a further storage unit at the rear for other camping items etc. The gas cylinder is also contained in a secure gas safe unit here. Electrics – there is a leisure battery that powers the fridge, water pump and lighting as well as an electric hook up that will power the 240volt plug sockets when connected. T5 Volkwagen SWB CamperVan for sale. Driven by owner from new. SWB T30 2.5 TDi 174ps. Date of manufacture 29/07/2008. Taxed until May 2020. MOT until May 2020. Full service history due to company ownership pre conversion. Raven Blue metallic paint, colour coded bumpers mirrors and roof. Air Con pack A. Two remote locking keys. 5 Leather bound seats in grey, with VW logo in blue, all with 3 point seat belts and headrests in matching leather. ASPEN CONVERSION by CANNON CAMPERS. Rear of van was stripped and cleaned and any holes bonded and filled. 1 piece of lining material was used to line each side ensuring no joints or overlaps. Wheel arches moulded from the same piece using a Wurth contact adhesive which has been temperature tested. A one piece, 18mm water resistant floor was bonded to the van, guaranteeing no screws which can create rust spots. Door panels are lined in matching material. New upgraded VW steps were used to the side and rear, ensuring a professional finish to match the new floor height. WINDOWS TRIM AND WORKINGS. Lined and insulated using a breathable product to absorb and keep the vehicle well insulated. Carpeted using anthracite carpet and heat resistant glue. The interior of the van was fully stripped and cleaned prior to carpeting to achieve best results. The floor covering is a Alaro product. The windows were all bonded when fitted with a privacy window fitted to the back cabin. One fixed window and sliding door. One sliding window over kitchen. Full side of cupboards, precision cut and wrapped in walnut colour. 12 Volt Waeco Fridge with ice box. SMEV 2 burner hob MO9222S. SMEV stainless steel sink with smoked glass lid. 2 LED strip lights. Housing for camping Gas 907, gas vent drop out. 12 Litre water container, submersible pump with foul water tank. Sliding table system in walnut, which folds away when not in use. Rock and roll ¾ width bed, 2 seat belts and underbed storage drawer with soft closing system and push button lock. 2 beds in roof. Front elevating roof, colour coded with black canvas and roof bed. 240 Hook UP and 12 Volt socket and 2 double electrical sockets. EBERSPACHER 801 modulator heater running off diesel. Offering manual and digital temperature adjustment. FIAMMA 260 with tie down. FIAMMA fitted by CANNON CAMPERS. The van has three faults. 1 Awning is slightly bent due to water collection , but is still fully functional. 2 The rock and roll bed is functional , but is a little stiff to put away. 3 The front window blowers and zircon only work on full setting.
