Now that our financial situation has changed, we no longer need it. This is a genuine sale as there is absolutely nothing wrong with it. It’s the nicest camper we’ve ever owned by miles. It’s our own camper. It has two and a half years left on it, and apparently it’s transferrable. Let me know if you’re interested. The main plus points of this motorhome that we found are. You can stand up in it the entire length. You can park it in a normal car parking space. The huge amount of storage. The kitchen is at the back by the back door. It’s very posh inside far too posh for the likes of me… It takes a 3.9kg Gas Bottle (which we are including). A cassette toilet pull out. Electric hook up point. Water tank filling area. A step up into the living area at the back (see image). A full habitation check at a garage was done when we bought it in March 2023. Back door with a large double-glazed window that opens wide with a blind and mozzy net. The door locks from the inside and outside. Above the door are the electrical panel and switches for water, heating and the lights. You can run these either off the car battery or the leisure battery. To the right of the door is a switch for the two main overhead lights. On the ceiling is a vented roof window (good when cooking) with a blind and mozzy net. To the right of the door are two cupboards, the top one is a wardrobe for hanging up clothes with a shelf. Below that, is a cupboard that I used as a shoe store – absolutely vital in a camper/motorhome. Then a flushing cassette toilet (which we’ve never used). A shower curtain and a rail to hang it (but no actual shower) (the surrounds are all moulded plastic, and the floor is vinyl so can get wet although we didn’t wash in it). Six kitchen cupboards – two of them massive. One of them with a fitted plate and mug rack. A cutlery drawer with cutlery compartment. A lockable fridge with a tiny freezer compartment. All of the cupboard doors are magnetic and also have press lock handles (genius idea). A sink with running water. A double hob & grill. Two detachable seat backs (for making the bed). Two removable back rests (for making the bed). Two floor storage areas. One gigantic storage area at the top front above the cab (I can fit in it). One set of table legs & board (this is the main board of the bed base and can be a table). One small board for the second section of the bed base. Two small boards that go across the front to make the huge bed. One large upholstered block to create the front part of the bed area. Please note; we can do a demo of the bed for you should you need it. Two double-glazed lockable windows with multiple open settings, both with blinds and mozzy nets. A skylight with a blind and mozzy net. Two lined curtains with tie backs and poppers that allow them to be clipped up around the window screen and cab windows (another genius idea) for privacy & warmth. Amazingly good quality upholstery throughout. New timing belt & water pump done in March 2023. Oil & filter change in March 2023. Mileage: 37,452 miles. Please give me a call if you want to come and have a look or you have any questions. We’re based in Wootton Rivers which is just outside Marlborough, Wiltshire. My telephone number is 07491 402401.

For Sale: A beautiful example of the Citroen C15 ROMAHOME HyLo. I absolutely love her but its time to upgrade to a bigger van, so she needs a new loving owner. She is cute, cosy and full of love. We have had numerous fun adventures in her. I really hope she goes to someone who will love her as much as we have. Runs really well and mega economical on fuel. Two additional rear seat belts so seats four (lap belts). Exterior has been professionally buffed this summer and old decals removed. Interior – In May I had her gas and electrics safety checked and had the following additions completed by a professional campervan specialist: New battery. New leisure battery Solar panels to the roof. USB ports LED downlighting. Fully reupholstered New curtains. Two single beds or one large double – we used it with an awning which added on extra sleeping and lounge facilities (awning not included in this listing). Twin bench sofas easily convert into a generous double bed which turns the whole width of the camper into a bed. Kitchen – end galley style with. Flavel twin hob gas cooker. Integral gas grill and new grill pan. Electrolux fridge with ice cube section (fridge runs when hooked up to the mains). Fold down worktops/splash guard. Rear stable style door with locks – rear habitation door entrance area is easy to get in and out of with its low entrance height – the door having windows in it means that you can see out through your rear view mirror whilst driving too. Large over drivers cab storage area, plenty of underseat storage and kitchen cupboard space as well as outside lockers. HyLo superior version (manual – push up + struts). Integral blinds and fly/mosquito nets. Mains 240V hook up and original mains type interior plug sockets. Heating system (blown warm air) and insulated lining. Cooling system (blown cool air). External cupboard for the Gas Bottle. Drop down stabilisers at the back. Extending caravan side mirrors (attach to the orginal mirrors if needed). 1769cc diesel engine linked to 5 speed manual gearbox. Fuel capacity 47 litres (10.3 gallons). Power steering (765kg chassis model). Mileage 114,972 miles. Owners Handbook and Guide. Manufacturers Description: 1998 (S)reg Romahome Camper Van – 2 Berth – Citroen C15d. Romahome C15 Diesel – Island plastics Limited – Comes with factory fitted power assisted steering as standard. Long life marine quality fibreglass moulding. Specification includes: Twin berth with the option of 2 x singles or 1 x double, 2 x roof vents, 2 burner gas hob, fold-down side tables, 12v lights. Leisure battery, 2-way fridge (gas/12v) kitchen sink and tap with internal water pump (currently not functioning). Huge overhead storage above drivers cab as well as under seat storage, food cupboards, outside locker. Also has 240v hook up. For those not familiar with Romahomes, they were made on the Isle of Wight to a very high standard. A key feature is the body, made in one piece from durable fibreglass. As a result, Romahome’s never have damp problems. The HyLo has always been a sought after model because it was the only Romahome variant which had a full length lift up roof, adding some 30 cm of height. The Romahome is built on a Citroen C15 chassis. The engine is a bullet proof 1.7 Citroen Diesel, renowned for its simplicity and long life. Some minor rust spots here and there (she is old) but all the whelding was done in 2021 and overall she is in wonderful condition for her age. There is a minor leak in the water coolant tank so I just keep a bottle of ready mixed with me and top it up every so often. Crack to the exterior double glazed panel of the back window – the interior pane is not damaged at all, so it’s still waterproof etc – the crack has now been repaired using waterproof tuff tape. My campervan specialist has said that its easily repairable – just need to get a replacement.
This is my mum’s Romahome Duo Outlook on a manual gearbox Citroen Berlingo. Up for sale due to ill health, mum has loved the freedom this has brought her. If you’re looking at a Romahome you know what these little gems are like. This example has blown air heating (gas powered), mains hookup and most importantly the toilet. The rear suspension has air assistance which is also great on slopes. You can let the airbags down or inflate them from inside the rear to level front-rear. I installed a whopping 260 watt solar panel on the roof with a really nice Victron MPPT controller to power my mum’s oxygen concentrator. The leisure battery is relatively new and has never run low. The starter battery is brand new. The MOT is booked next week and I will make sure there aren’t even any advisories. Any questions please ask.
