Quite possibly the only American imported Ford Transit in the country. No expenses were spared on the van and conversion build. Van was conceived to be my family’s camping vehicle. I then imported the van to England in the summer of 2017. Professional conversion to British regulations in fall 2017 and first registration in the Uk on 01/01/2018. Campervan conversion finished in September 2021. Babied and loved every step of the way. Unlike anything else with this type of engine and payload, this van can be driven on a standard British license. Classed as body type MPV, taxation class of lights good vehicle, it can be driven at normal motoring speeds (such as motorway 70mph). This van has also received the French Crit’ Air 1 classification to allow it to be driven in France’s restricted low-emission traffic zones. It is a beautiful van. Handles like a car, roaring speeds like a sports car, hauls like an oversized American truck, yet fits in normal parking spaces.
