Detect Many Kinds of Refrigerants? This refrigerant leak detector hvac is designed to detect refrigerant leaks in automotive air conditioners, cold storage, refrigerant recovery devices and home, office, and industrial cooling/refrigeration systems. Freon leak detector can detect all halogen CFC, HFC, HCFC refrigerants, such as R22, R134a, R410a, R502, R12, R404a, R407, etc. It is an essential tool for technicians in the field of refrigeration and air conditioning services. Adjustable 3 Levels Sensitivity? The freon leak detector provides 3 levels of sensitivity for selection. When you press the sensitivity key, the 2 left LEDs light up green indicates low sensitivity level, the 2 right LEDs light up in red indicates high sensitivity level, the medium orange LEDs light up indicates medium sensitivity level. Adjust to the required sensitivity according to the detection environment, the measurement accuracy will be higher. Advanced Thermal Diode Sensor? This refrigerant leak detector uses the latest thermal diode sensor which is very sensitive to many kinds of halogen gases. And leak detector hvac adopts the newly designed circuit and advanced signal processing microprocessor, which can fast react and accurately detect tiny refrigerant leaks, and moisture will not cause false alarms. After pressing “reset” button, freon leak detector will automatically set to ignore the refrigerant concentration on probe sensor, and will only alarm when the refrigerant concentration is higher than the current environment. This feature helps you efficiently track down higher-concentration leaks. Note:The device automatically turns on the environment reset function by default when starting up. It is recommended to start up in fresh air without refrigerant leakage. Tricolor LED Indicators & Buzzer Alarm & Low Battery Alarm? When refrigerant leak detector detects a leak point, the buzzer will sound an alarm, and LED indicators will light up from left to right, from green light (low concentration) to orange light, to red light (maximum concentration), indicating that the probe tip is close to the source of the leak. When the battery is close to its service life, red LED low battery power indicator will light up to remind you to replace battery or charge it. 15.5 Flexible Probe&2 Power Supply Modes&Potable Toolbox? Stainless steel probe tube of leak detector is 15.5inch long and covered with rubber to prevent rust and corrosion. It can be bent at will, so the position of the leak can be easily accessed and detected even in difficult and hard-to-reach areas. It comes with a hard tool case for easy storage and carry around. Compared to other testers, ours also supports charging. The package includes a AC battery charger and not includes 4pcs AA sized batteries. R410A, B407C, B417A, R404A, R507, R23, R508A, R508B, R1523, etc. R22, R123, R124, R141B, R402A, R402B, R03A, R409A, etc. F11, R12, R13, R113, R114, R502, R503, R170, R290, R600a, R1270, etc. Refrigerant leak detectors are used to find very low level halogen refrigerant (cfc, hcfc, hfc) leaks. When the leak occurs in a closed room and the concentration of the leak is too high, do not use the leak detector, need to ventilate the closed space first. Refrigerant leak detectors cannot detect refrigeration systems that use refrigerants beyond halogens. Alarm Method: Sound and visual: Buzzer, Tricolor LED Indicator. Power Supply: AC power adapter and/or 4 AA sized (6V DC) Alkaline Batteries. Battery Life: Approximately 7 hours continuous normal usage. Auto power OFF: 10 minutes. Disable Auto Power Off: Press and Hold “Hi” button and power button. Warm-Up Time: Approximately 45 seconds. Operating Temperature & Humidity: 040 C. Storage Temperature & Humidity: -1060 C. Sensor Wand Length: 40cm (15.5 inches). Physical Dimension: 173 x 66 x 56 mm. 1pc AC Adapter: 110-240V AC. Note: battery not included! Place the tip of the leak detector probe as close as possible to the site of the suspected leak. Try to position the probe within 1/4 inch (6 mm) from the possible leak source. Slowly move the probe past each possible leakage point. When the instrument detects a leak, the audible tone will alarm, and the visual indicators will be lit from left to right, Green LED then change to orange LED, and then to red LED(highest concentration) as increasing levels of alarm, indicating the location is closer to the leaking source. When the instrument signals a leakage, pull the probe away from the leak for a moment, then bring it back to pinpoint the location. If the refrigerant leak is large, setting the sensitivity switch to LOW will make it easier to find the exact site ofthe leak. Return the sensitivity switch to HIGH before searching for additional leaks. When you have flnished checking, tum OFF the instrument and store it in a clean and dry place, protect the leak detector from possible damage.
